Not half way
Love that is at times quiet
That is content with the knowledge “I have love”
That is not affected or impacted with the “what-ifs”
That doesn’t care about the past or the future
Love that lives in today, is the love that is absolute.
Absolute love is not the same as perfect love. Dictionary defines ‘Perfect’ as – having all the required or desirable elements, qualities, or characteristics; as good as it is possible to be, make (something) completely free from faults or defects, or as close to such a condition as possible.
Whereas”Absolute” is as not qualified or diminished in any way; total; viewed or existing independently and not in relation to other things; not relative or comparative.
Absolute is all embracing. It is whole and complete. It may be ‘imperfect’ but it is absolute.
Love, of all the things, should be absolute. Either it is there or it is not. You can never be half-way in love.
